Technology Versus Communication: Are we really connected?

By Ronny Roman

Most of the people in the world now have a computer, a modern mobile or an easy internet access device which gives them the chance to communicate with other people everywhere and whenever you want, but people forget that they can talk to someone else personally.  Some people spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer or talking on their mobiles and they prefer to do that instead of talking to the people around them. In my family, for example, my younger brother spends lots of time sitting in front of the computer, chatting or playing, and we just can talk with him. At 8 pm when we are having tea, he is very nervous because he needs to come back quickly to the computer. I cannot bear that situation anymore; therefore I had a talk with him, however he did not understand what I think. Maybe the technology comes to make our lives easier, but we should live with technology instead of living for it.
